We're leaving tomorrow for vacation along the northern California coast. I'm excited, I've always wanted to drive along the 1 highway. Even though it was pretty hectic getting all the lodging booked at the last minute, I'm really looking forward to staying at all of these cute, Victorian bed-and-breakfast inns. So instead of mourning, I'm now anticipating lots of gourmet meals, hiking all day most of the days, seeing Redwood National Forest (finally), and staying up late at night watching Gilmore Girls on our laptop because there's nothing to do in the sleepy little towns we're staying in. Napa, Point Reyes, Mendocino, and Eureka, here we come!
