mendocino

Mendocino was one of our favorite stops on the trip. It's a charming, New England-style historical village that used to be a shipping town in the nineteenth century. The town itself is very cute and picturesque; in fact, practically all of the buildings are historical landmarks. It's not a very big place, and we could walk from end to end in about an hour. Yet we still spent two days wandering around over and over, enjoying the coastal views and looking at cute shops. We also splurged and stayed at a nicer inn, so we spent a lot of time indoors, making the most of our accommodations.
