I felt like such an adult today. Byron and I went and got our first ever safety deposit box at the bank. It felt kind of weird to leave our "valuables" there, which doesn't consist of much: important documents and a few pieces of jewelry. What was weirdest for me was the thought of what this box will eventually hold: maybe a title deed to a home, a car, birth certificates? It then really hit me that I've started a new life with Byron, that we are our own family now. Yes, I know we've been married for over two years, but the reality is still dawning on me.

It is great to share it b/c it reminds of I used to have one in Taiwan in the past, but later, i run of out money to invest my foundation (a lot of loss) but luckily, I did not buy any stock. I do not know wehter it will charge money per year of the bank for security box in U.S. In Taiwan, it may charge NT 1200 per year but depends on Bank's policy.
