Christmas 2006

(Sorry that this post is so out-dated. Thoughts on the new year, a Taiwan trip post, and other various current happenings will be coming soon!)

This year, our Christmas was spent with Byron's immediate and extended family up north. We first celebrated Byron's sis Jenny's birthday with all of his cousins, aunts, and uncles.
After dinner, we went to visit Cassandra (Byron's cousin), who works at Hallmark and thus couldn't make dinner.
(Byron being an annoying customer. His dad in in the back right.)

On Christmas day, we went over to his cousins' house for a big family feast and opening presents.

Christmas tree at his uncle's house surrounded by tons of presents--it's Byron's family tradition for every single person in the family to give gifts to every single person in both immediate and extended families (you can surely imagine how many presents were sitting underneath that tree!)

A blessed and happy Christmas being with family! The very next morning, I hopped on a plane to Taiwan.

Hi Maria!!

Happy belated New Year! It's so nice to hear from you too :) How have you been?

It's so nice to see Byron's parent's pictures too... I still remember how hospitable they were in letting us stay with them for our Mexico trip :)

All the best with your dissertation~
Miss ya!
