Last night Byron and I went to watch Dreamgirls. We hardly ever go out to the movies, so it was a real treat for me. :) The movie was fantastic. I was super-impressed by Jennifer Hudson--she certainly deserves her Best Supporting Actress nomination. I can't believe this is her first time acting. She had an amazing voice; whenever she sang, there was so much emotion. Beyonce was okay too, although whenever she was on screen, it seemed like I was seeing Beyonce, and not her character, Deena. She sure is beautiful, though. We both enjoyed the movie very much, but it did run a bit long and probably could have been shortened by at least10-15 min. I would recommend watching it just for hearing Jennifer Hudson sing.
