My new schedule has been working out pretty well. I'm finding myself immensely productive when I get out of the house. The challenge is trying to get myself actually out of the house.

I've been meeting up with Felicia almost everyday at our favorite downtown Palo Alto cafe, The Prolific Oven. For some reason, the atmosphere in there is perfect for me, very conducive to writing. I can't seem to study at the library anymore (my college haunt, and also the site of many study dates with Byron); I always end up falling asleep.

By the end of the summer, hopefully the dissertation will be done...I'll also have tried almost every cake at the Prolific Oven! :)
