my first suit

I am super happy--I got my very first suit today!

Shopping for suits is not fun nor easy; takes tons of time trying on different ones and seeing if it fits right. I was really clueless, since I don't work in a corporate environment and had no idea what to look for. Thankfully, my dear friend Teresa was visiting from LA and went shopping with me. After 5 hours of Christmas and suit shopping, I finally found "the one" at Ann Taylor. It fits perfectly (I don't even need alterations for the pants) and it was on sale! I feel like such a grown-up wearing my suit. :)

Now I just need to buy some dressy heels, and I am all ready to face my interviews at MLA!
