another update
I got another job offer today--I will be the Teaching Assistant for one section of "American Masterpieces." Yay yay yay! Total, total praise.

I ran five miles today, v-e-r-y slowly. Can't believe that the Big Sur 10k is coming up in less than a month!

I start my first day tomorrow at the Writing Center. Hope it won't be too bad. I can't imagine students coming in asking for help on their essays the first week of school.

I'm going to Taiwan during Christmas! Dec 26-Jan 8. Without Byron, unfortunately, so please take care of him for me while I'm gone.
