a litotical account of my week

Not much to report here. A fairly uneventful week. All I've been doing is working on my chapter. Then on Wednesday I met with my study partner, showed her my first ten pages, and she basically blasted through it. I got super-depressed and down, moped around pretty much all of Thursday. Commiserated with Sarah and Sam over dinner at Country Gourmet that night, was out all day on Friday, and then celebrated my b-day early with other March gals with a yummy dinner cooked by Chef Joy.

Slowly realized that I was being too perfectionistic (which deserves a long post in and of itself) and needed to accept the fact that in order to be finally free of the-chapter-that-is-taking-forever, I must be okay with turning in something (that seems to me, at least) very rough and not all-together. So here I am, back to writing and getting all obsessive with obscure words again...

Although my doctoral program is not at all rigorous compare to yours, I learn that a done dissertation is a good dissertation.
