carmel
After retreat, Byron and I decided to visit Carmel, since it was so close by. The weather was really nice and sunny. Carmel is such a cute little town, filled with adorable shops and hotels. We walked around a lot, admiring the architecture and doing some window shopping.
this cute little building is a tea shop

our delicious salmon club sandwich for lunch at The Grill on Ocean Ave.
we read in one of the guidebooks about this secret passage way connecting San Carlos and Dolores Streets
it actually housed a garden shop hidden in the passage that sold a lot of New Age-ish type stuff: Buddha fountains, "peace" rocks, etc. , but it was a very pretty store
