weekend fun

This was a great weekend...

It started off with Joy and Summer coming over on Friday night for some girly time: facials, masks, snacks, and lots of laughter, most of it coming from Joy and myself. If you want to know why we spent most of the night almost falling off my kitchen stools roaring with laughs, go and ask Summer how she plans to celebrate her birthday. Hint: it involves wearing something "shiny," singing karaoke at a Japanese lounge, and some infamous dance moves.

Another big treat for us--Andy came to visit from LA! The pictures below pretty much show what we did all weekend.

Mike, Andy, and Byron watching funny online videos from Youtube.com

How many people does it take to unscrew a scrapbook? Apparently, three! (Joy needed some help while assembling Jen's scrapbook...)

My shrimp etoufee at Nola's, one of our favorite restaurants in the Southbay

Andy with the empty Hurricane, afterwards (notice how red his face is?)

So much fun this weekend, Andy, please come visit us again and make sure you bring Karen with you next time!

Yumm... Crayfish etoufee is my second favorite dish, right behind Cioppino. I'll have to give them a try.
