cold cold cold

It's sooo cold...I don't want to go on campus and teach my section today. :(

It was 54 degrees in our home yesterday morning. Byron and I have sought refuge in our study--the warmest room in the house, since it's the only place that actually gets sunlight--by huddling there with blankets, both halogen lights on, and the door closed.

I was trying to hold out until December to turn on the heat, but the hubby revised that policy this week.

I do like winter, though. I just forgot how cold it gets in our house!
