Wishing I were in L.A. this weekend for the annual Festival of Books held at UCLA. I went twice in college and found it to be a fun, relaxing event for book lovers. If you have a family, there's lots of storytime and drama on several different stages across campus. There are also book signings and panels/talks given by famous writers.

I especially want to go this year to hear Don Cheadle talk about Darfur. For the Laker fans out there, apparently Kareen Abdul-Jabbar is reading a story for children on Saturday. I believe Dr. Phil, Ralph Nader, and a few others who sound famous will also be there.
