Guess what I received today in the mail?


I trembled a little as I removed the packaging and ran my fingers through the soft fabric. Especially when I opened up and laid out the hood (not shown here), I couldn't help but shed some tears; the hood, the gown, the little cap (also not shown) are all parts of my doctoral regalia, a symbolic reminder and foreshadowing of what is to come soon.

Is this really happening? Am I actually going to graduate? I've dreamt about this moment for so long, I can't believe it is actually dawning upon me. All I can say is, God is faithful and he is good. I can testify that I have truly experienced so much more of God himself during this long and difficult journey. That has been the most precious gift of all, more than my degree.
