dreaming of spring

The sunshine is beautiful today.

After so many weeks of rain and overcast skies, I'm starting to get really excited about spring approaching. I can't wait for the flowers and trees to bloom (even though they always wreak havoc on my allergies). I want to wear sandals and flip flops, flouncy skirts, be outdoors. In anticipation of spring, which is still at least a month or two away, I'm going to make a list of things to do when the weather gets warmer. Please add suggestions! Family-friendly a plus.

So, here goes:
1. Visit Filoli in April to see the tulip garden
2. Visit the windmill at Golden Gate Park (supposedly there are tulips there too)
3. Have lunch outdoors at a restaurant with sidewalk seating
4. Try Bi-Rite Creamery in S.F.
5. Visit the "Impressionist Paris" exhibit at the Legion of Honor
