jerry and jen's wedding

Congratulations to Jen and Jerry, who got married this past weekend!

Thoughts on our weekend in LA:
1. LA traffic SUCKS. It took Byron and I one hour and forty minutes to get from the Southbay to Pasadena for the wedding rehearsal on Friday. It literally took us thirty minutes just to get on the freeway, and then we were sitting on the 110 forever. (Sorry for being late!) On Saturday, same bad traffic on surface streets--in the middle of the day!--while we were getting from our hair/make-up place to the church. Joy and I were sweating bullets while waiting anxiously in the car...(sorry for being late again on the wedding day!). All this bad traffic is making me seriously reconsider my recent desire to move back to LA.

2. Jen was such a beautiful and giddy bride, and the entire wedding was gorgeous! pretty church, lovely flowers, stunning gown, beautiful banquet...(sigh) such a nice wedding. I'm so happy for you guys!

3. Attended Mosaic Pasadena on Sunday and then met up with my (Su) cousins for lunch. Mosaic was really cool (maybe I'll post more thoughts on it later). It's always great to catch up with Joyce and Josh, Eileen, Joseph and Daniel, and even Willis and Jocelyn (who just came back from Kyrgyzstan). Saw my sis Joyce too.
